Replace Hideous Elbow with E-Cap Vent Cap Cover

Q: I wish to use E-cap to replace the hideous elbow my furnace installer used on my new installation. Please advise if this product is approved for use in Ontario under the regulations established by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority.

A: After talking to a representative at Technical Standards and Safety Authority ( TSSA), I was told that since the E-cap carried the CSA International mark, the E-cap would be recognized and accepted in Ontario.
